The Sequenchel database is the heart of Sequenchel. You can create this database on one or multiple servers, according to your needs. To create the database start Sequenchel and open the Edit / Settings screen. Next, open the Database tab.
Enter the correct information and click “Create Database”
Save your settings if this will be your main Sequenchel database.
If a newer version of Sequenchel has an update for your database, you will be notified. If this is the case, open this screen and click on “Update Database”. We recommend to always make a backup first.
The button “Refresh Database” will update all views, functions and stored procedures to their latest version. Tables are not updated this way.
