SQL Monitoring

Sequenchel SQL Monitoring is performed from the Sequenchel database. This database contains tables, views, functions and stored procedures.

Sequenchel relies on Linked Servers. All monitoring procedures will automatically use all Linked Servers that are present on the SQL Server where your Sequenchel database resides. You can disable server or server-content moitoring on a per-server basis.

You can use Sequenchel to create the necessary Linked Servers. The Linked Servers will be created with the options that Sequenchel favors. If no Linked Servers are present, only the local server will be monitored

You can use Sequenchel to create the scheduled jobs for the monitoring procedures.
